Xuelei Chen is a professor of the National Astronomical Observatories, Chinese Academy of Sciences (NAOC). His reseach interest includes test of cosmological models, reionization, and 21cm observations. He is the PI of the cosmic dark matter and dark energy group in NAOC, the leader of the Tianlai (heavenly sound) 21cm intensity mapping project，and PI of the lunar orbit long wave interferometer array project. He received his Ph.D. from Columbia University in 1999, and has more than a hundred publications.
