Research on understanding the formation process of planetary systems has been progressing very rapidly in recent years, but there are still many unknowns. In this talk, mainly focusing on high-resolution observations using ALMA, I would like to talk about such as the growth of dust (solid) suggested in protoplanetary disks and the ongoing observational project to probe detailed gas kinematics in disks, along with a review of this science field.
