Study of Supermassive Black Holes in the Era of Interferometry

The successful achievement of near-IR interferometry by European Southern Observatory marks the beginning of the era of high-resolution astronomy in the optical/near-IR. This talk will introduce how to perform high-precision measurement of black hole masses, cosmological distances, the history of the expanding universe, and nano-Hz gravitational waves from supermassive binary black holes in the era of optical/near-IR interformetrry.
