The Discovery of Wu's Team Listed as one of Top 10 Achievements in Science and Technology in 2015 among Universities in China

 

The discovery of the most luminous quasar with an ultramassive black hole in the distant Universe, made by a team led by Associate Director of KIAA Xue-Bing Wu, originally published in the journal Nature on February 26, 2015, has been selected as one of the Top 10 Achievements in Science and Technology in 2015 among Universities in China(2015年度中国高等学校十大科技进展).  The 10 achievements were selected by the Science and Technology Committee of Ministry of Education of China. Started since 1998, this selection has played an important role in enhancing science innovation in Chinese universities.
